we are on the final stretch before school starts up next week. last week i was already feeling anxious, the freedom of summer verses the routine of fall. luckily, tim’s parents are here with us from ontario and i’ve been feeling far more present.
we spent a grey day at the pne this week. it was grey, but the rain held off. what a hoot! with cash and ilya both being tall enough to ride the kids rides it was a blast. i was exhausted by the end, but it was just what i needed.
cash will be starting kindergarten this year. he will be going back to waldorf where he did preschool last year. his enrolment fell into place kind of last minute but i feel quite content it’s the right decision for our family for another year. he will be going monday-friday, 8:15am-12:15pm, and with baby #4 arriving mid-february i’m looking forward to having him home in the afternoons.
